Setup guides

Connected in minutes, not meetings

Each live integration takes a few clicks from Dashboard → Settings → Integrations.

Calendar feed — Google, Apple & Outlook

BuildersBridge publishes your schedule as a private calendar feed: every schedule event — crew shifts, inspections, deliveries — plus open task due dates, for the next six months. In Settings → Integrations, click Enable next to Calendar feed and copy your private URL. Then subscribe: in Google Calendar, Other calendars → “+” → From URL; in Apple Calendar, File → New Calendar Subscription; in Outlook, Add calendar → Subscribe from web. The feed is read-only and updates as your schedule changes. Anyone with the URL can read your schedule, so treat it like a password — disabling the feed in Settings kills the URL instantly and a fresh one is minted next time you enable it.

Zapier — automate 5,000+ apps

In Zapier, create a Zap with the Webhooks by Zapiertrigger (Catch Hook) and copy the hook URL it gives you. Paste that URL into BuildersBridge Settings → Integrations → Zapier & webhooks, and save. From that moment, BuildersBridge sends an event the instant a new lead is created, an invoice is paid in full, or a client approves an estimate — and Zapier routes it anywhere: a Google Sheet of leads, a Slack channel that celebrates paid invoices, a follow-up email sequence. No code, and it works on Zapier's free tier.

Webhooks — for your own systems

Building something custom? Point the same Settings field at any https endpoint you run. BuildersBridge POSTs JSON events (lead.created, invoice.paid, estimate.approved) with an HMAC-SHA256 signature in the x-buildersbridge-signature header, computed with a signing secret shown only to your workspace admins — so your receiver can verify authenticity before acting. Delivery is fire-and-forget with a short timeout: your endpoint being down never affects your BuildersBridge workflow.

CSV export — your data, always

Settings → Your data → Export all data downloads the entire workspace as one ZIP of CSV files: leads, clients, projects, tasks, estimates, invoices, change orders, crew, suppliers, purchase orders and bills. Use it for your accountant, your own reporting, a backup, or to leave — no export fee, no retention call, on every plan. It's the reason "in development" on accounting sync doesn't mean "stuck": your numbers are portable today.

FAQ

Integration questions, answered

How do I connect my calendar to BuildersBridge?

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Integrations and click Enable on the calendar feed. You'll get a private subscription URL — paste it into Google Calendar (Other calendars → From URL), Apple Calendar (File → New Calendar Subscription) or Outlook (Add calendar → Subscribe from web). Your schedule then updates automatically.

Does BuildersBridge work with Zapier?

Yes — today, using Zapier's built-in Webhooks trigger. In BuildersBridge Settings, paste your Zapier catch-hook URL and we'll send new-lead, invoice-paid and estimate-approved events the moment they happen. From there you can route them to any of Zapier's 5,000+ connected apps.

Are the webhooks secure?

Yes. Every webhook request is signed with HMAC-SHA256 using a secret only you can see, sent in the x-buildersbridge-signature header, and only https endpoints are accepted — so your receiving system can verify each event really came from BuildersBridge.

When are QuickBooks, Xero and Stripe payments coming?

They're in active development and marked 'coming soon' inside the app — we publish what isn't built rather than implying it's live. Meanwhile, the full CSV export means your accountant can work with your data today, and our team can walk you through the current workflow.

Can I get my data out of BuildersBridge?

Always. Settings → Your data exports the entire workspace as a single ZIP of CSV files at any time, on every plan, with no export fee. Your data is yours — that's a commitment, not a feature.

Do integrations cost extra?

No. The calendar feed, Zapier webhooks and CSV export are included on every plan at no additional charge.
